If you’d like to play Elden Ring as a powerful bare-fisted Dryleaf monk (but don’t want to wait 100 levels), this mod lets you get Shadow of the Erdtree’s gear right away-

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has added dozens of weapons to the game’s already 300-strong roster of kit—if you’re looking for a primer, you can read our illustrious Sean Martin’s legendary weapons guide, though I’d recommend letting yourself discover them spoiler-free on your first playthrough.

However, if you’re done and dusted with the DLC, you might see its roster of cool stuff and decide hey, I’d love to do a playthrough as a Dryleaf Arts monk. After all, Margit’s long overdue to catch these hands.

You then may quickly remember that you need to be around level 100 to kill Radahn and Mohg to access the DLC—unless you’re one of those sicko mode level 1 players, and even then, that still requires a ton of prep and practice that could be spent kicki…

Emulation proves the inevitable Achilles’ Heel of Qualcomm’s new PC chips when it comes to gaming-

Two weeks ago I was in a hotel in downtown Taipei prodding some of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Elite laptops, and I was impressed with how well they ran Baldur’s Gate 3 and Metro Exodus. Both are compiled for the x86 CPU architecture, yet the co-created Microsoft/Qualcomm Prism emulation layer still delivered impressive gaming performance from proper PC games.

And I was happy. A few days later I was happier still as I checked out the Works on WoA microsite to see about game compatibility and this is what I saw:

But today, now that the early reviews are starting to trickle out—either in sponsored form or otherwise—the news isn’t nearly so promising. And it’s nothing to do with the brutal bout of Computex showvid-19 I came back with; it’s all about the performance…

It’s that time again, folks. The Future Games Show is back, this time with its 2023 Spring Showcase, hosted by none other than Briana White and Cody Christian: Aerith and Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Clocking in at 85 minutes and showing off 45 games, the Future Games Show Spring Showcase will kick off tomorrow, March 23, at 3 pm PDT / 6 pm EDT / 10 pm GMT / 11 pm CET. Remember to set a reminder on YouTube so you can catch it right from the start.

45 games is a heck of a lot, and many of them are set to be a surprise. But to give you a brief taste of what to expect, you can look for…

Diablo 4 preloading for the early access beta has started-

Preloading for Diablo 4‘s early access beta has begun and yeah this month is going to be a mouthful of Diablo beta dates and times. This weekend’s beta, which begins on Friday, March 17, is for folks who’ve preordered any edition of Diablo 4.

As of today, March 15, you should have the ability to begin downloading the beta in your Battlenet app on PC. So if you’ve already got your ticket to hell it’s time to hurry up and wait on that download.

In the sidebar of your launcher, make sure to change your game version to “Diablo IV – beta” so you have the option to install. It’s a slightly chunky installation. The main download is about 80GB, though you can cut that in half to just 40GB if you choose not to install the high resolution texture pack.
